Rambler

Rambler - This very handsome and well-behaved little guy appears healthy, and actually is in every way, except he is heartworm positive. It is such a shame that so many dogs are not provided with basic health care and preventive medicines and vaccines, and end up with ailments as lethal as heartworms or parvo or distemper...! If sweet little Rambler is provided the necessary treatment, he can most likely be cured of the heartworms and be able to live a long, healthy, happy life. But the treatment is not just an option. It is a dire necessity if he is to live! Rambler is a small (thirty pounds) tri-color male beagle who was brought to the shelter as a stray. He is only about two years old and he is happy, well-behaved and socialized, affectionate, alert and attentive, and he loves people. If Rambler is not reclaimed, he will be made available for adoption. Please call the shelter at (256)771-7889 if you recognize Rambler.
