Meg 2019-13279K
Breed: Red Heeler
Coat: Short
Size: Large
Age: Adult
Meg is a real sweetheart. This beautiful female red heeler is very friendly and sociable, and she loves people. She is also gentle, well-behaved, and obedient. Meg was surrendered to the shelter because her owner's health became such that he could no longer care for her, so she is in immediate need of a new home and a loving, caring family. Meg is of a breed that is normally very intelligent, active, and perceptive, and like to work. She is about four years old and weighs fifty-eight pounds, and has been vetted and vaccinated since she arrived at the shelter. Unfortunately, a blood test revealed that this beautiful girl is heartworm positive, so she needs to undergo treatments to be rid of them so that she can live a long and healthy life. If you would like to make a donation to help cover her heartworm treatment, or if you need more information, please call the shelter at (256)771-7889.
