Rebel did great in his temporary foster, but by no fault of his own he is back at the shelter. It does take him a little but to warm up to everyone (especially men), but once he does he is truly a sweet heart. He loves cuddles and belly rubs and give kisses. He is a big dog but thinks he is a lap dog. He will be your little shadow and follow you around the house. He is a little skeptical of other dogs and people at first but once he is given the chance to observe and sniff he will be their best bud. Cats take him a little longer to get comfortable around. So if you have a cat it is probably best to keep them separated at first and let them have contact in small amounts of time and build up. He does good on a leash and off. Doesn’t like runners. They scare him. He does good in car rides tho you might want to get one of those dog seat belts so he doesn’t try to jump up front. He does very well in a crate. He doesn’t chew on things other than the toys you give him. He doesn’t like to pee in the rain but he does good to not potty in the house. Someone give this 5 year old boy a chance. He does need socialization work, but he is wonderful.
