Chess Pie

Chess Pie 2019-13495K
Breed: Labrador Retriever
Color: Golden
Age: Adult
Chess Pie and her traveling companion, Eggnog, were found wandering near a very busy and dangerous (especially for them) highway by a kind passerby, and brought to the shelter for their safety while we try to find their owner. Both of Chess Pie and Eggnog are blonde, or yellow, female Labrador retrievers, and are each about two years old. This precious big girl is the larger of the two, weighing seventy-nine pounds, while Eggnog weighs a "mere" sixty-five pounds. It is quite possible, if not likely, that these two adorable big girls are sisters. Chess Pie is calm, gentle, well-behaved, and she loves people. And both are alert and very attentive, and appear to be quite intelligent. These big sweethearts are both healthy and free of heartworms, and have been vaccinated since arriving at the shelter. As clean, healthy, and well-behaved as Chess Pie and Eggnog are, they must surely be someone's much loved pets, and they must be sorely missed at home, but if they are not reunited with their owner, they will be put up for adoption into new home with new families. Please call the shelter at (256)771-7889 if you recognize these big girls and can help them find their way back home.
