Wendy 2019-13590K
Breed: Golden Retriever
Color: Brown
Coat: Short
Age: Adult
Wendy is a very sweet girl who has recently had a litter of puppies, but who, herself, is in need of a new forever home. She is estimated to be about six years old, so she may be prematurely graying. Wendy is simply a precious, gentle, well-behaved girl who loves people, and is very affectionate. Wendy is a sweet female chocolate Labrador retriever mix who was turned in to the shelter by her owner, along with two males. She weighs almost fifty pounds, and is healthy except for the fact that she is heartworm positive, and in need of treatments to be rid of them. She has been vaccinated since arriving at the shelter. Wendy will make a very sweet and loyal addition to her new family, but she will need to undergo treatments for the heartworms rather soon so she will need a rescue, foster or an adopter. Please call the shelter at (256)771-7889 if you would like to make a donation to help pay for her heartworm treatments, or go to https://limestonepets.org/ to fill out an online adoption application for her.
