| Great with dogs and loves people, Spatula is a young 8-year-old, 55-pound boy who never meets a stranger. Having arrived at the shelter as a stray at the end of June, Spatula is fortunate to be with a wonderful foster who is helping him complete heartworm treatment next week, followed by some quiet time for a few weeks. Very mellow, he would be best suited to having a yard of his own, as he loves walks so much, he sometimes doesn't want to return home. Even the foster's elderly neighbors who are afraid of bigger dogs love to pet Spatula. Like any older adult, a place where he doesn't have to climb many stairs is preferred.
