She loves other dogs just not in her home. She is a wonderful girl. Athen-Limestone Animal Service (ALAS) is pleading to get her adopted. Sassy is loved by staff and volunteers and is a sweet, kissable, loveable, gentle, and playful girl. She loves kids and people! Sassy came to ALAS with her three friends because her family home exploded due to a propane tank leak. Sadly, all the fur babies and her family were inside. Sassy lost one of her fur siblings to the blast, and her family is in the burn unit in Birmingham recovering from their injuries and cannot care for their loving fur babies anymore. Sassy is super sweet, friendly to everyone, including strangers, loves treats and ear and belly rubs, and weighs around 65 lbs. She loves wagging her tail for attention. One of her eyes was damaged in the blast; however, she is healthy overall. She is a low-riding pitty with the cutest potty belly. She won over the staff's heart at first sight and she will win over yours. Sassy knows the following commands: sit, come, and wait. Sassy's family wants her to have a home again.
