She is rambunctious, confident, loves other dogs, and happy-go-lucky. Averill loves giving kisses and takes treats very gently. Averill is a five-month-old heeler and terrier mix that weighs 28 lbs and is full of energy. She loves toys especially, Kong and playing fetch, is treat-motivated, and is very friendly towards strangers. She is shy at first then within minutes, pounces on you with excitement. She knows the following command: sit, wait, and come. She loves walks and puppy play groups. She pulls on her leash so she needs leash training. Averill is very mouthy, and jumpy, and needs to focus more; however, all she needs is positive training to correct that behavior. Her forever family needs to understand she is a puppy with boundless energy and mouthiness; however, she loves training and would thrive in an active family.
