♥️Hi everyone. My name is Sheila, and I am a young girl growing up in the shelter and am not too fond of it. I sleep in my bed alone and do not like it. I am tiny; however, I am full of energy and love kissing and cuddling. I love toys. I am very treat-motivated. I am very adventurous and enjoy walks. If you like a sassy, pint-size little girl who weighs 17lbs with a great sense of humor, please apply for me. I want to leave the cold shelter and have a forever home. I am a good girl and loved by the shelter staff. ♥️

This is Sheila's second post, and the Athens-Limestone Animal Service (ALAS) staff is pleading to get her adopted. Sheila is gentle and sassy, loves people and kids, is very stranger-friendly and dog-friendly, and loves pets and treats, as well as ear and belly rubs. She is dolly to be around. Shelia is high-energy, loves toys, and is a fun girl.
Sheila was found as a stray with her siblings. They were frolicking around in an area notorious for dumping dogs before being taken in by an Animal Control Officer. She is approximately eight months old and weighs 17lbs. She is so friendly and happy to be saved. She loves giving kisses and getting pets. She is a well-adjusted girl with a big heart that is a sweetheart. She loves walks and puppy playtime. She needs some leash training. She loves chasing balls and tossing a toy in the air. She loves to cuddle and is very energetic. She would be perfect for an active family that loves walks, hiking, and road trips.
To apply for Sheila, please go to www.limestonepets.org, click adopt, and fill out the application to get pre-approved to adopt from ALAS.
ALAS offers a two-week foster-to-adopt program to ensure their fur babies are an excellent fit for your family! Also, ALAS allows shelter dogs to have weekend sleepovers to help them reduce their shelter stress and enjoy some needed one-on-one attention.
