|♥️Hi everyone. I am an adorable boy who is energetic and loves toys, command training, and treats. I would be best with a family that has kids over the age of 10 who love the outdoors and spending time with me. I need to be fed separately from my pack because of my food aggression; however, with training, it can be managed. Please, do not give up on me. I want a home that loves me and teaches me boundaries. ♥️ |
Breed: Labrador Retriever/hound mix
Coat: Smooth/Short (Low Maintenance)
Kid Friendly: No, kids under 10
Athens-Limestone Animal Service (ALAS) staff is pleading to get him adopted. Froyo is lovely, loves to listen, is very stranger-friendly, and loves pets and treats. He has food aggression, so feeding him separately from the pack would be best for this sweet boy.
Froyo was an owner turn-in. Froyo is approximately over one year old and weighs between 50lbs and 70lbs. He loves toys, pets, belly rubs and is very sweet. Froyo is a great listener, is very treat-motivated, and knows the following commands: sit, focus, and wait. He loves to go on walks; however, he pulls on the leash, so he needs some leash training. He is very treat motivated and loves playing fetch. He has a medium energy level dog and would be great with an active or moderately active family that loves the outdoors.
To apply for Froyo, please go to www.limestonepets.org, click adopt, and fill out the application to get pre-approved to adopt from ALAS.
ALAS offers a two-week foster-to-adopt program to ensure their fur babies are an excellent fit for your family! Also, ALAS allows shelter dogs to have weekend sleepovers to help them reduce their shelter stress and enjoy some needed one-on-one attention.
Please share Froyo's profile to get him adopted.
