Hi everyone, this is ALAS. Our sweet and petrified girl, Iku, has been at the shelter for over a month with her siblings, Isen and Idan. She is the most timid of the three. She is terrified at the shelter and needs out. She does slightly resource guard her food, which is easily corrected. She listens very well and loves cuddling and pets. ALAS needs its followers' help to find a rescue or adopter that will take her, so please tag accredited rescue to help save our sweet and timid girl Iku.Athens-Limestone Animal Service (ALAS), the staff is pleading to get her adopted. Iku has been at the shelter for a month with her siblings, Idan and Isen. Iku was dumped with them. She is very terrified, shy, and timid. Iku is very nervous at the shelter, like her brother and sister, Idan and Isen, who show no aggression toward people or dogs. She loves soft toys. Iku is very depressed and scared at the shelter because of the noise and smells. Iku is gentle, sweet, and low-energy. She enjoys pets and walks in quiet areas like her sister Isen. She pulls slightly on the leash, so she needs leash training. She would be perfect for a homebody family because she loves cuddling on the sofa, and warm blankets and soft music will comfort her.
A Samaritan rescued Iku after being dumped with her siblings. Iku was very skittish and showed a little resource guarding. However, it was quickly corrected by her guardian angel. Iku quickly warms up to people. She is a great listener and easily leashed. She loves people and treats. She is very treat-motivated. She is a gentle girl who loves cuddling and being around people and dogs. She is 11 months old and weighs 43 lbs. She is scared at the shelter and lonely. She is low-energy and would love a family immediately because the shelter environment scares her. She needs a confident dog to build up her trust.
